This song is just the blues. I have been familiar with playing the blues for a while, so interpreting this melody and giving it a nice flare was fun. I did not really struggle with this song, I would even go so far as to say this was one of the easiest ones.

 

The melodic manipulation for this was also pretty simple. Since it was blues, there were so many options on how to go about making a good improvisation. As you listen, you’ll probably notice the gospel style that I have adapted over the years of playing.
